The hopper of this bucket elevator is discontinuous arrangement, which is used for loading by “drawing method” and unloading by “centrifugal feeding method”.

The traction structure of the Bucket Elevator is two ring chains, so it is also chain drive bucket elevator or Chain Hoist.
